Japan - part 2

I've continued to design quite a few more Japan-inspired files for my customer. I test cut some tonight and thought I'd share them with you.

The first is a sillouette of a geisha. I wanted to add a touch of color, so I made her obi red.

Geisha
$1.25 - file price
$1.50 - die cut price

Next comes the kimono. I chose a peach paper with some light gray flourishes and a few pale yellow petals. Any Asian paper would look fantastic, I think. Another nice look might be a red kimono with black accents.

Japanese Fan
This file is free to those of you that ask. I had help from Sandy McCauley in designing it and want to share it since she shared her wealth of information with me.
$1.75 - die cut price

The picture of the cherry blossom border below just does not do the piece justice. It turned out so nice. I will have to try to get a better picture during the day and repost it. (Note: this file also comes with a single cherry blossom to accent the page).

Cherry Blossom Border

$1.50 - file price

$2.00 (border) - die cut price

$.50 each (individual flower) - die cut price

Japan

A customer of mine from day-long crops contacted me to create some Japanese themed die cuts. She wanted to make a scrapbook of her mother and grandmother, both of whom are Japanese. Here are a few examples of what I came up with.
First we have a tori gate. Tori gates traditionally mark the entrance to sacred ground.

Next, we have a pagoda. Traditionally, pagodas are places of worship.

Outer Space

My brother is a huge fan of NASA and hopes to witness a launch someday. My sister-in-law asked me if I had a file for a shuttle to use for his birthday invitations. I didn't, so I decided to make one. This file could be used as a paper piecing or as a card.

Shuttle card or piecing

To keep along with the space theme, I decided to create a NASA title and a telescope.

Telescope

$1.00 - file and die cut price

Please note: the shuttle and the NASA title are not for sale at this time. I have written NASA for copyright information. If you are interested in these files, please e-mail me and I will make a note to get back with you when I receive feedback from NASA.

Supermom

On one of the KNK Yahoo groups, someone was seeking a designer to create a silhouette of a "supermom." She requested that the figure have a cape, apron, and pearls. While I didn't achieve the pearls, I do think I came up with a great supermom. (Now, if I could just have an occasion to use her in my scrapbook.)

To compliment the supermom, I created a minivan for her to scoot around town in running all her errands and taking care of all her family's needs.

The supermom comes home to her cozy little house that she keeps immaculately clean.
